    Professional introduction: In order to meet the industry’s demand for technical personnel, scientific research, and technological transformation in electromechanical research and development, production, etc., our school officially enrolled undergraduates majoring in “Mechanical and Electronic Engineering” in 1985 with the approval of the State Education Commission. The training goal of this major is to train to meet the needs of socialist modernization and cultivate leading talents in science, technology, and engineering with a solid foundation, comprehensive quality, and strong engineering practice capabilities. This major is based on mechanics, mechanical engineering, electronic science and technology, and control science and engineering. Focus on learning the basic theories and professional knowledge required by the disciplines of electromechanical system design and control system design. Mechatronics is the characteristic of this major, emphasizing the leading role of systems engineering, information science, and control theory, focusing on the comprehensive design of computer control systems, electronic systems, and mechanical systems, as well as modern technology and design methods such as computer applications. Emphasize the cultivation of a solid theoretical foundation, innovative thinking methods, and practical innovation ability. Particular attention is paid to the improvement of students’ comprehensive ability through practical innovation. After 2005, the major has developed in the direction of intelligent robots. At present, it has formed the disciplines of bionic kinematics, micro-nano operation, and sensor control, electromechanical integration and interaction, system integration and control, etc., in humanoid robots, service robots, medical Certain achievements have been made in rehabilitation robots, aerospace robots, military robots, rescue robots, and other fields. The professional teachers are led by academicians, Changjiang scholars, well-known scholars at home and abroad, and extensively absorb outstanding experts and scholars from the same industry at home and abroad to build a first-class teaching team. There are currently 29 full-time teachers in this major, including 1 academician and 1 Changjiang Scholar.

Engaged in mechanical operation management, mechanical and electrical product design, development, computer-aided design, and computer-aided management of mechanical and electrical products.
    Main disciplines and main courses (groups): The main disciplines of this discipline are mechanics, mechanical engineering, electronic science and technology, and control science and engineering. The main courses include circuit analysis foundation, electronic technology foundation, signal and system, mechanical drawing, mechanical design foundation, circuit analysis foundation, digital electronic technology foundation, analog electronic technology foundation, control engineering foundation, computer control and servo system, robotics, etc.

    Graduates’ professional fields: the field of mechanical and electrical engineering of national economic construction and science and technology industry.
    Job types of graduates: Engaged in mechanical operation management, design, and development of mechanical and electrical products, computer-aided design, and computer-aided management of mechanical and electrical products.
